Through generous memorial gifts and the work of Grace Foundation, Grace Lutheran is able to offer a several scholarships to students pursuing education beyond high school. All graduating seniors who are members of Grace are invited to apply for these scholarships.
Non-members may also apply, and may receive certain scholarships when there is no qualified applicant from the congregation.
The 2012-2013 scholarship application deadline is Friday, March 23, 2012. The Grace Scholarship Team announces award recipients each year in April.
Grace Lutheran offers two types of scholarships:
The Grace Foundation Scholarship is for any Grace Lutheran member attending a Lutheran college or university. The amount of the award varies depending on the decision of the Grace Foundation Board each year. This scholarship is renewable.

The Godtland Scholarship is a non-renewable $500.00 scholarship for a Grace Lutheran Church member who is a high school senior and will be attending any institution of higher learning.
The Gertrude Hanson Memorial Scholarship is a non-renewable $250.00 scholarship for a Grace Lutheran Church member who is a high school senior and will be attending any institution of higher learning.
The Lindsey Loehr Diemer Memorial Scholarship is a non-renewable $500.00 scholarship for a Grace Lutheran Church member who is a high school senior and will be attending any institution of higher learning.
The Janice M. and Henry J. Guse Scholarship is a non-renewable $1,000.00 scholarship for a high school senior who plans to enroll in a two-year or more nursing program and who demonstrates financial need. (Non-members may apply, and will receive consideration if no member of Grace Lutheran applies.)
The Lu Ryan Memorial Scholarship is a renewable $500.00 scholarship for a Grace Lutheran Church member who is a "non-traditional" student pursuing education to further their career. Students enrolled in professional certification or trade programs are eligible.
The Don Gross Scholarship is a non-renewable $500.00 scholarship for a high school senior who plans to seek a bachelor's degree in elementary education. (Non-members may apply, and will receive consideration if no member of Grace Lutheran applies.)
